Growing up??
This is Israel's second night in his twin bed. ( the view from the video moniter) Not sure it will last. He is teething and has been very difficult to get to bed. So since the bed is there Mike has been lying down with him in the twin bed until he falls asleep and then tie toeing out of the room. Last night he slept all night in the bed once he fell asleep. He looks so little sleeping on the pillow. This am when we went to get him he had gotten out of bed around 7 am ( his usual time) and was playing in his room. He had locked the door though!!!

ohhh the housing game...
Still working on interviewing people to rent our house. We another couple coming tomorrow. We hope to have the paperwork done and a security deposit and lease signed in the next 2 weeks. Hope is the key word here.
In the meantime we found one house that we LOVED LOVED LOVED. It was in a very nice development. It was huge, 2200 sq feet above ground. Had a decent yard. All hardwood floors in the whole house except the kitchen and baths which was also a major factor for me since I hate wall to wall carpeting. 2 car garage. We made an offer on it right away but come to find out it went pending while we were there looking at it. It was a bank owned property. So disappointed about that one. It was a beautiful house.
Today we looked at 5 more houses and made an offer on one. Not as perfect as the first house. Smaller at 1800 sq feet. This one was a short sale and the owner rejected our offer.
So we keep at it. We have plenty of time and aren't in a rush as we don't hope to move till May or June but the whole house buying process can be frustrating to say the least.

Blog neglect
We have been busy--- not really. Just trying to get through every day. I never thought it was possible to be so tired without really doing much but that's the reality. 45 days till my due date. It seriously can not come fast enough.
Keira starts swimming lessons next week with the Red Cross. She is excited. She had her Valentines Party at school and came home very excited to show off her valentines from her friends and all the treats that came with then ( pencils, candy etc) . We registered her for school for next year. Same place- only she will go 3 days a week instead of 2.
We have decided to try and move forward with renting our house instead of selling for the time being. We put out an ad on craiglist and received an overwhelming response in a matter of just hours. So much so that we took the ad down within a day or 2 so we could weed through all the prospects. We are thankful that our realtor is very experienced in the whole tenant landlord process and is guiding us though the world of credit scores, background checks, and house showings for potential renters. We are hoping that it all works out. In the meantime we are again scouting out potential homes for us to move too. It being Feb there isn't much out there but we have some time. If all goes to plan we hope to move around May first... but it all depends on so many factors...mostly when the baby arrives. Its gearing up to be a wild spring around here.

Making Valentine's Day cards
Keira needs to bring in Valentines for all her classmates for a party next week. Instead of buying them I bought all kinds of craft supplies and let Keira be artsy to her hearts content. She loves art projects right now so she had a blast. We bought paper, ribbon, lace tissue paper, stickers, glue. She cut and pasted and glued for HOURS. Mike and I helped her make valentines for her classmates and teachers and then she spent another several hours making them for every one she knows. It was the best $20 I ever spent. Its kept her so busy this week. We might make cards for St Patty's day and Easter etc etc.. :o) Mike also took her to one of those free art things at Michaels on Sunday. It was decorate a valentine box. I figured being a craft store they would have paint, stickers, ribbons - all kinds of cool stuff that the kids could do to decorate the box ( that you purchase). All they had was paper, glue, and markers.... weird. Keira still enjoyed it though.

Pre - natal 4/ almost 32 weeks
BP- Normal
Weigh gain- 35lbs
Baby's heart rate 130-140's
Complaints- Too many to list! :o)
Midwife confirmed my suspicions that baby is indeed head down.
Home birth plan all set.... unless it happens during the day- Then I need to figure out what to do with the kiddos.
Birth supplies ready to go.
Baby stuff - all done except for car seat and co sleeper installation.
50ish days to my due date or 5 weeks until baby is full term. Just wishing I could fast forward time.
