Its almost July...
I feel like summer is flying by. We aren't unpacking anymore per say but still busy doing things like organizing the basement, hanging shelves in the garage and working on the new super tight monthly budget ( that's always enjoyable). My brother and his wife and 3 kids are here from Austria for a bit as well as Mike's cousins from Georgia so we have been playing our hand at Hotel Vigneau. The kids have been living in the backyard when its not raining. This coming Sunday Nairi is getting baptized and then its time to figure out whether we have the energy to tackle the beach with the 3 monkeys this year or not. My first instinct is to say no, most definitely not. I am just tired from the move and of course my lack of sleep due to having an infant in the house. Not to mention the thought of packing ANYTHING gives me a headache. And of course there is the baby factor. What to do with a baby that can't sit up at the beach. Doesn't exactly sound at all like vacation or relaxation at the beach. But I know that Keira and Israel would have an absolute blast with all that endless water and sand and open space.... so we are considering it. If anyone has any input feel free to share. Keira was 1 the first year we did the beach and last year Israel was nine months and could sit up and crawl so he entertained himself and didn't need to be held every second.
Anyone done the beach vacation thing with a infant and toddler and preschooler and have any thoughts to share??? I'm all ears.

Various Movies
We have taken some movies over the last month. I am sure we are a little biased, but the kids are the cutest!!!

Enjoying summer
Summer. Its nice, no running to get Keira to school on time. We pretty much just hang out at home and with the nicer weather the kids find plenty to do outside. Hopefully by the fall I will have figured out how to get somewhere on time with 3 kids in tow and hopefully by then Nairi will have outgrown her carseat hatred.
Mikes Man cave of sorts
The formal living room we have nicknamed the tv room/ media room/ office/ Mikes man cave. Mike has been busy hanging his tv ( which he told me is too small for the room) and putting in wall speakers in for surround sound. He also hid the cords and cables for the tv inside the wall which I think is pretty cool! Our old leather sectional provies plush seating for optimal tv viewing, which I think is kinda funny since you have so subscribe to basic cable to even get public tv around here. So we don't get cable which means we get zero channels. In the winter we probably watch MAYBE an hour or so of tv a night ( via netflix streaming or hulu.com) and this time of year maybe an hour a week.
Another peanut
At 2.5 months old Nairi weighs in at 10 lbs 14 oz. She was our biggest at birth ( 7 lbs 10 oz) and spits up the least. Keira and Israel spit up LIKE crazy and Nairi only spits up a tiny bit. Keira was 6 lbs 10 oz and Israel was 7 lbs 9 oz at birth. At 2 months Keira was 11 lbs 11 oz and Israel was 11 lbs. Nairi is 2 and 1/2 months old and smaller than both of them were at 2 months. Weird. Apparently our kids are getting smaller. Israel is still weighing less than Keira did at the same age. I try not to look at the numbers and to focus on the obvious. Nairi smiles often and even has a belly laugh ( we have a great video of it we just need to upload it off the camera!) She rolls from her belly to her back and holds her head up fabulously so all is well. It just seems that all my friends kids grow so quickly. My friends 6 month old wears bigger diapers than Israel ( 20 months ) does and the same size clothes ( 18 months) not to mention he weighs more than Israel too. Ahh well. The good thing about tiny kids is they wear the same clothes forever and they are easy to carry without breaking your back!

Keira's 4th birthday tea party
Keira wanted to have a tea party for her 4th birthday with a ballerina cake. So thats what we did. We played pin the handle on the tea pot, and drop the sugar cube into the tea pot, did some crafts, played on the swingset, ate pizza and dressed up in princess dresses and had tea and cake. Thanks to all who helped us celebrate!
