See how the snow piles are up to his face???

Now thats a snowstorm!

20ish inches!! Kids had a blast. The snow piles are up to Israel's shoulders. Mike was kind enough to plow some paths through the backyard so the kids can wander and still get to the swing set and playhouse. Hippert was kind enough to come play with Keira in the snow- something that's hard me for me to do being 7 and 1/2 months pregnant and watching Israel was well.

Happy 15 months little man!

You are a bundle of energy and love. You have figured out how to torment your sister. You love to grab her Polly Pockets and run and you know she hates it. Tonight at dinner she wanted to sit right next to you and you rewarded her by poking her with your fork. Ahh sibling love. :o)
Your vocab is amazing. You probably have 30ish words... Sit down, bye bye, mama, daddy, apple, cheese stick, milk, snack, meatball, ut ohh, show ( tv show), up, see, that, this, broom, no, go, stinky, cookie, cracker, eat, among others.
You love going down to the basement and looking at daddy's tools, and playing with the broom.

Kitchen

We kept Christmas simple and low key ( aka inexpensive). But I decided if we are ever going to survive the winter we needed something else to entertain the kids. So we bought this kitchen set. The kids love it. Keira loves the washing machine part of it so she can wash her babies clothes. We recently secured some furniture to the wall to make sure nothing heavy falls on our climber ( aka Israel) Mike asked me if we needed to bolt the kitchen to the wall so I took some pics for evidence that yes indeed we need to bolt this to the wall as well. Israel thinks everything needs to be climbed.

Notice the audience?? They don't give poor daddy any space and they steal all his tools! We were rearranging furniture this am ( my favorite pastime) and Mike noticed an outlet that he hadn't switched to a tamper resistant outlet since Isarel's favorite thing to do is plug and unplug things into outlets. Anyways the kids were quick to surround Mike and pester him with questions ( Keira ) and steal his tools ( Keira and Israel) Luckily Mike is a patient guy!

We took K to the mall for her second ever real haircut. We cut several inches off her hair. She thought it was great, she was very excited and sat very still and asked the hairdresser lots of questions. The funniest question was " Are you going to paint my hair?" The lady sitting next to Keira was getting foils done and it sort of looks like painting I guess when they put the color on the hair!

Nutcracker

Keira and I went to see the Nutcracker Ballet yesterday. She loved it. She sat on my lap captivated the whole time. " I like those dancing girls!" She told me. It was a great show and I see many more Nutcrackers in our future. Despite leaving my camera right by my purse I forgot both ... it will be nice to have my brain back when this baby arrives. I am so forgetful lately!! 94 days till my due date.......

Snow!

We finally got about 9 inches of the real stuff! The past few days though its been brutally windy. Keira didn't seem to mind and still wanted to play outside but Israel was not a fan of the wind. It actually knocked him over a few times! He also can't walk very well in a snowsuit and boots and after falling on his face right into the snow he wanted nothing to do with it. But today it was in the 30's and minimal wind so outside we went. No snow pants for Israel and he had a blast. Notice Keira's thin cotton dress and tights! Crazy kid!!!

Weight gain- 24 lbs
Nausea report- mostly gone except for the am's and if I get too hungry. Throwing up is 90% gone for now. But the heartburn has offically arrived. 14 weeks and counting.....
Name??? We MIGHT have agreed on a name but I am not sharing it for fear that I will change my mind!

Lots of fun as always. This is the first year Keira was big enough to stay up late and help decorate them. She did a great job.

12-22 2010- First snow!!

First snowfall was so late this year! Kids had a blast walking around in the snow and being pulled on the sled. Our Christmas company is here too. Anna ( in the black jacket) from Armenia and Julia from Ukraine. Both are in the states on scholarships at Vanderbilt University in TN.
