Keira's 4th birthday tea party

Keira wanted to have a tea party for her 4th birthday with a ballerina cake. So thats what we did. We played pin the handle on the tea pot, and drop the sugar cube into the tea pot, did some crafts, played on the swingset, ate pizza and dressed up in princess dresses and had tea and cake. Thanks to all who helped us celebrate!

Always mowing

All winter Israel had an obsession with shovels. One particular snow shovel in particular. He would get excited every time it snowed and stand at the door and beg to go out and shovel. And when it rained he would go out and push the rain around with his shovel. Sometimes he even insisted that the snow shovel be in his room at bedtime. Now he occassional plays with his shovel but I think he gets sad there is no snow to shovel. His new obsession is the mower. When the landscapers are in the neighborhood mowing all the neighbors yards he gets very excited and stands at the door and watches. He spends tons of time pushing our play mower around the backyard.

Craigslist steal

Bernie and Phly's leather soda and 2 rocking/ side chairs! So excited to have some furniture in the family room. Mike and I have been checking craigslist like crazy for furniture and construction stuff ( aka wood flooring, doors etc). Sometimes we find crazy good deals. Hoping to find a dining room set soon ! Mike wants to host poker night at our house now that we have the space.

A year in the making....

We bought this swing set last summer. We finally have our new house and new backyard to put it in. Keira is excitedly watching it take shape and Israel keeps saying " Swing swing?" They are so excited to have a swing set to play and climb on. We gave our old metal one to some scrap metal guys about a month and half ago so they have missed having a swing set. The fence is almost complete too. There is one tiny section that they will finish on Monday. Its half vinyl privacy fence and half vinyl picket.

They don't "look" good because they melted a bunch in the car as it was so hot but they were delicious!!!!!!!!! If you go to Queen City Cupcakes ( new place on Elm Street) I highly recommend you try the cookie dough cupcake. It was amazing!

Happy Guy

Happy 4th Birthday Keira!

She woke up and found a trunk of dress up stuff, some books, and new shoes on the breakfast table! Daddy is getting her a giant cupcake from Queen City cupcakes and we are having a tea party next week to celebrate. Can't believe in 1 more year she will be going to Kindergarten! She is still a very imaginative child who loves dress up, dolls, princess stuff and books. Happy Birthday to our oldest!

We still have a few bushes to remove. At least 5 neighbors have told us they are so glad the bushes are gone as they were such an eye sore to the neighborhood
