This is a Kangaroo Karrier that a friend is letting me borrow.. I thought it might be helpful to use while flying to Iowa that way I have my hands free for luggage, etc- There is a slight problem- Holding Keira this close to her food supply means she ... um.. always want to eat!!!! I might have to come up with something else.....

You guys look cute together! Hey...is that a TV on in the background?? =)
LOL.. its the mnusic channel... it only changes pictures every 3 min or so.... and Keira had just woken up so we hadn't shut it off yet.

You do look adorable! Do you like it? I saw someone with one of these at the mall the other day.
hmm- well.. after a few emails with the company I have come to realize that its probably the wrong size- It does seem to hurt my back/neck and keira seems restless and hungry every time she is in it?? so I would have to say no- I can't seem to get the hang of babywearing other than in the Bjorn or backpack- Keira wasn't a fan of the Moby either and I always felt like she was going to fall out of it- I still prefer my Baby backpack... and that is probably what I will bring to Iowa.

Anything that involves carrying Josephine hurts my back like crazy, which is probably because she weighs 19 pounds and I'm not very strong as it is. I have a front wearing carrier by Jeep and I can only put her in it for short period of times.
Have you tried a sling that you can use while she is on your hip...like a zolo or a maya?
Well this is supposed to be a hip carry.. I am thinking since I have a bad back that a hip/side carry is probably not the best thing for me. I researched Kelty backpacks today and they run around $200!!! YIKES- Althogh their were 2 on ebay for less than 150.....
