Yesterday we spent most of the day at Memere and Pepere house playing with her cousins and everyone else that lives there. Mike had to help his dad with some sort of project involving a dryer vent. Amazingly enough- and this is the only time this has EVER HAPPENED, they completed the whole project without one trip to Lowes, Home Depot, True Value, or Ace hardware!!!!!! Usually the joke is that every project takes multiple trips to the hardware store and a "good project" is one that involves less than 5 trips. Seriously.
Today's project ( for Mike and I ) is to construct a garden fence as some lovely animal is eating all my veggies!!!!!!!!!!! We didn't have any issues last year but this year something is ruining my garden. So we will keep you posted on how many trips to Lowes this project takes.....
Anyways--Memere gave Keira a new doll and a doll stroller and has you can see Keira lovingly takes care of it by either pulling its hair out or dragging the doll around by its hair. Oh wait- once she lovingly pushed it around in the stroller.
Before we went to Memere and Pepere's house I went to a day care yardsale and bought Keira some new outdoor toys (see the orange Home Depot digger truck and the purple and pink riding thingie in the pictures). Keira defintely likes the digger truck the best. I also got her 2 pairs of Stride Rite shoes for 2 dollars a piece!!! ( notice the snazzy new pink shoes in the pics)
All the pics are from last night after we got home......

Wow! 2 pairs of StrideRite shoes for $2! What a steal. I always hear about other mothers going to these great yard sales and getting such great things for their babies and kids. I can't tell you the last time I ever even SAW a yard sale!! I'm jealous!
I love the pictures of her dragging the doll! Too funny! Samantha has a similar pink ride on toy and she just hasn't gotten the hang of it yet. We'll try again soon though!
