I have never seen extreme home makeover. Is this a house for one family? It looks huge! Will it totally stand out on your street? How does someone win this show? Niki
3600 SQ feet total not counting the garage! 1 family mom dad and 4 boys. To get on the show you have to submit a video explaining why you should be on the show (you need to be in a pretty tight spot money wise) and out of the 1000s of submissions they have to choose you. yeah it does stand out, but it's TV and they make it a bit over the top.
Last night was pretty much a mad rush as far as work goes on the house, it's coming together but because of it being so far behind, people having to rush and people not getting any sleep things are getting done as nicely.
When i left at 3am this morning the siding needed to be finished along with some Sheetrock, all the final trim and woodwork in the house, painting and all the yard work. If you look at a weather map there is a HUGE storm that is just pushing off to our North,,, I think God's keeping things dry :)
