Mike and I watched this movie yesterday and it was very entertaining. Even Mike liked it. Its a definite Chick Flick but very funny!!!!!! The best part was we rented with from Redbox so it was only 1 dollar instead of 4 dollars like blockbuster charges. As you can tell I am being a penny pincher. My car is on empty and I am not filling it up until gas prices go down. Obviously since I really don't HAVE to go anywhere I can do that. Besides I can walk to wal-mart and the grocery store.

Favorite things

My perennial beds all freshly mulched.

Today was one of my favorite kinds of days!! The weather was beautiful, we made a trip to the garden center and bought lots of yummy smelling pine mulch, Mike installed new pathway lighting since our old lights got squashed by all the snow, and we went out for lunch with a friend and I got a BLT burger. Delicious!!!

Keira started crawling around the house with things hanging out of her mouth like a a puppy again.... I am guessing it has something to do with her 2 new front teeth!

Yesterday Mike and I were hanging out at the table after lunch talking and Keira was playing in her room. Somehow she managed to find some old party favors from my bridal shower. They were homemade boo-boo bunnies that had a chocolate egg inside of them wrapped in a mesh paper..... Keira found one and of course stuck it in her mouth and was sucking the chocolate through the mesh we I went to check on her because she was being realy "quiet".

What is wrong with America???

Again I say it............ ARGHHHH!!! Did anyone watch Amercian Idol... we didn't but apparently Carly got voted off..... who I should add probably has one of the best vocal abilities on the show!!!!!! Mike is so annoyed he says he isn't watching the show anymore. I don't know if I can do that but its really getting annoying when people vote people to stay based on looks and not on musical ability. ARGHHH.. that is my gripe of the day!!!! :o)

Goldfish??? Nope...

Since we stopped giving Keira dairy, wheat, soy, and eggs she stopped spitting for the most part and her dry skin cleared up.
We started slowly trying to give her these foods to see how she does... she found some new favorite foods- goldfish being one of them. However she now has a diaper rash... the same one she always gets from dairy... so no more goldfish for Keira. Poor Keira. We will try again in a few months. She has also spit up twice today. She doesn't really have any allergy type symptoms.. so we are hoping its just a difficulty digesting the milk protein for now. She does seem okay with it in small doses.. since she has been eating oatmeal cookies for about a week now and they have butter in them.

Who besides Alexis and Kate think this boy can sing???? He is horrible!!!!!! He needs to get voted off the show!!! He is as bad as Sanjaya last year. Who thinks white boys with dreads look good anyway??

Taking books off her book shelf kept Miss K amused for a bit this afternoon. I think Keira's friend Sarah taught her how to do this!

Keira got her first taste of oatmeal cookies today!! She loved it and now knows what cookies are for sure. When she sees Mike and I eating them ( we pretty much eat them all day long.... Mike made another double batch of oatmeal cookies) she whines and comes crawling right over.

The post meal food search. After Keira is done eating and we take her out of the highchair she crawls under the chair and eats all the stuff that fell on the floor and then stands up and eats all the food that fell on the "foot shelf" She is so funny.
