And the after...wall-to-wall (almost...room left for expansion of course)...bamboo...carbonized so that it is a little darker and more oak-like in color.

Bamboo Floors
So...to be more environmentally friendly, my dad decided to have Bamboo installed in his house. Of course, Mike took advantage of the chance to get a new tool...hardwood flooring nailer...

Looks nice! My sister has bamboo in her house. I love it! Chris took the chance to buy the nailer when we put down our hardwood. Anything to get a new tool! haha!
exactly! Anything to get a new tool. Bamboo is a bit cheaper than regular wood like oak.
