We forgot to take a picture of the fireplace surround and glass doors with the brass accents before Mike took them down to paint
But I found this old picture where you can kinda see the brass
A simple change.... new tile and hardwood replaced the dated beige tile and carpet. Brass surrounds were painted black and the wood pieces surrounded the fireplace were painted from beige to white. We originally were going to do stone around the fireplace with a reclaimed wood beam however the guy I was going to get the reclaimed wood from did not have a piece in the size I wanted and because we were already over budget in the family room project we decided to leave the fireplace surround and just repaint for now.
