Whats going on here

So baby wise... 39 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Both K and Israel were born by now. I heard the third birth can be the wild card..... where things go differently so we will see. I had an appointment with my midwife today. I thought maybe baby was sunny side up since I had some labor that started and stopped a few days ago but she appears to be in good position just off to the corner of my uterus and not right in front. She is also not very engaged but midwife said that's normal for thirdish babies and she will engage in labor I guess. I won't get into my laundry list of complaints about why I want this baby to come but lets just say we are all WAITING!!!!!!! :o) House wise... the home inspection on this house is scheduled for tomorrow at 9 am. Since we are supposed to get a big snow storm tonight the inspector actually just showed up and asked if he could do the outside . We are praying all goes well. We are still looking for a house for us. There isn't much out there currently and the winter weather doesn't exactly get people in the mood to list their houses. So we keep looking.... Mike is keeping a close eye on the housing market and gets emailed the new listings daily so hopefully we will find something soon.

After over 365 days

of dealing with showings and showings and frustration and headaches and waiting waiting waiting we can officially say we have sold our house!!!!!!!!!! Well for the most part. As long as everything goes okay with the inspection ( which it should since Mikes knows every sq inch of this house inside and out) we moving on to greener pastures.. or should I say larger pastures?
We had a renter secured and were ready to sign the lease with them when a couple that had looked at our house months ago ( when it was on the market) made a random low ball offer on the house. We negotiated a bit and the deal was done. We are losing money of course being that housing prices are the lowest they have been in the past 9 years but say la vie I guess.
I can't even describe how excited I am to double ( and then some) our sq footage!!!!!!!!!

After spending the last almost 4 years home full time with the kids and in about 646 sq feet I can honestly say that space will feel heavenly. It has felt so cramped in our house lately. We have 1000 sq feet but since the second floor is 90% sloped ceilings ( b/c our house is a cape) where you can not stand up straight its not truly 1000 sq feet of space.
And so the house hunt continues. Mike and I made 4 offers on houses in the past few weeks under the impression that we were renting our current house but none of those deals went through so we continue to look and negotiate and hopefully we will find what we are looking for.
2000-2600 sq feet, 2 car garage, newer colonial style house, large family room and dining room ( or eat in kitchen), fireplace, enough backyard for our massive swing set we have yet to put up, and walkable subdivision/neighborhood, and within 20 min of K's preschool and private Catholic school we hope to send her too. And of course Mike's requirements, natural gas heat ( no oil!), central ac ( this one is important for both of us), public water and sewer, and within 20ish min to his work.
Ill miss some things about this house for sure. We have lots of happy memories here. Israel was born here in the kitchen... :o), and this house is super easy to clean and cheap to heat. Ill miss being less than 5 min from the grocery store, doc office, post office, pharmacy, Target, Wal mart, Lowes, the park, church etc etc! But at the same time I'm excited to see our next house and to move on. We plan on staying in the city but doubtg we will be as close to everything as we are now.
Not sure how the whole packing and moving thing is going to go with preschooler, toddler, and infant but I guess we will figure that out in the process. Moving date is tentatively set for June... either beginning or end of June. Not sure yet at this point.

Bounce U

The kids had their first birthday party invite to a bouncy house party. They had a GREAT time. Israel is fearless and I think its safe to say that Keira is over her fear of bouncy houses as well--as long as daddy is nearby. Both LOVED going down the gigantic slide- with daddy of course.

Some random ones...

Wet and Soggy

What could be more fun than getting completly soaked in a massive puddle and shoving sticks down the sewer drains?

Pancake breakfast

There was a pancake breakfast at Keira's school today. Immediately after filling up on pancakes and bacon and juice Keira went to find some books. She is our little bookworm and can always entertain herself with a stack a books. Anywhere anytime she is happy with books. Israel just ran around like a madman getting into trouble.

Baby baby.

I had my 36 week home visit with my midwife on Monday. Baby is fine- I'm fine. Everything is good and I'm ready to go....... Co sleeper is set up. Car seat is in the van ( not installed yet) but that takes 2 seconds. In 2 days Ill be 37 weeks which is technically full term. Time to come out baby!!!!!! Not that I will get lucky enough to have her that early... I'm sure I will be pregnant another 3 weeks. Bummer. I seriously dream about not being pregnant anymore. About being able to sit on the floor and play with the kids comfortably. About being able to roll over in bed- heck even being able to sleep in bed would be nice. I have been sleeping on the couch propped up for the past month. About waking up and not throwing up. About being able to enjoy food again. About being heartburn free again. About being able to go more than 30 min without having to pee. About wearing my normal clothes. About having a lap for the kids to sit on when we read stories. About being able to nurse pain free. About being able to go up the stairs or even read a story without getting out of breath. Yeah you could say I have about had enough.

Oh so frustrated.

So here we go again. We had our second potential renter who told us they loved the place and gave us a potential move in date, filled out there application and then backed out at the last min. AHHHHH!!!!!!! Back at square one. Do we try to rent or try to sell ? Do we stay or do we go??? What to do is the big question. We have been at this for a year now and its getting OLD!!!
