Ahhh April vacation in NH. This year it seemed similar to February vacation. There were kids with colds, there were fires in the fireplace ( before you think I am absolutely nuts) it was 40 degrees and raining for 3 days straight, and there were was some resemblance of going crazy. But the sun came out briefly Thurs and Friday and hope was restored.
We did alot of this.... and when we stopped doing this we went to the library to get more books so we could do more of this. In case you are wondering there are at least 4 different versions of Tomie dePaola's Strega Nona. I have read them ad nauseam this week.
" What do you mean we can't go outside?????" Me and the sand box just met last week and we need to get reacquainted! "

And when we tired of reading we snacked and snacked and snacked some more. It was a productive week.
