Where do we live again?

Last I checked we didn't live in Alaska.. but you wouldn't be able to guess that if you looked outside.... Its snowing AGAIN. Not just an inch or so.. Like a foot or so... There is so much snow that if if I look out my living room window I cannot see the mailbox as the piles of snow are to high. There is so much snow that Mike was outside this morning at 6 am raking the snow off the roof and hacking away at the ice dams that have formed on the edge of the north facing roof as it doesn't get enough sunshine to melt anything. These are a few pictures of Mike this am on a 15 foot ladder hacking away at the ice on the roof with a hammer and an axe.. I took them from inside so there is a little window glare..

Well,, the average snowfall for Anchorage AK is 69 inches while the Average for Concord NH is 63 inches, not too much difference there,,, we could always be like Mt Washington with 254 inches Average.

But it's a good idea to pull some snow off the roof, it's going to rain and warm up Sunday so things may get a bit heavy and messy.

Do you want to come over to our house and help us out? Our roof could always use some scraping!!!!
