To chronicle the home improvement projects I have done (mostly current and future projects, not past projects). I wanted to do something more in depth than Tanya has previously done on our projects. Although I do appreciate the ability to look back at where we were when we first bought this house and where we are now. But I also wish I had written out some explanations about the intricacies and quirks on things I have done.
It allows me to write out my thoughts on the current project I am working on. It will also allow me to bring all of my research (including links) into a central repository for me to look back on or reference.
Plus it gives you a chance to see how crazy I am about details and research before undertaking a project.
