Come Holy Spirit

Today is the feast of Pentecost. For all us Catholics and Christians this means that today we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. Mike's parents were kind enough to babysit Keira last night so Mike and I could go to the 2 and 1/2 hour Vigil Mass at our parish. The best part about the whole Mass is the amazing music. We were sitting in the balcony again so we where able to get a pretty good view of everything and everyone singing and clapping to the music and praising God. It was refreshing!
There. That is my attempt at being theological and philosophical. Obviously I failed. I am a horrible writer- hence why our blog is mostly pictures.

I don't know if our church had a long vigil last night like it does on Easter... I think I would have heard about it since Rob's mom works at the church. It sounds really nice! We wanted to go to the one for Easter but couldn't, maybe next year! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

You are not a horrible writer! We love reading your blog! For mass today Lydia made it to the homily before having to be escorted out. She entertained herself up until that time by trying her hardest to pull the ladies hair in front of us (we didn't let her ofcourse). That's really nice of your in laws to keep Keira so you can enjoy mass a bit more :o)

Happy Pentecost and Mother's Day!
