Keira got her first taste of an all natural, nitrate free, turkey hot dog today. She LOVED it!!! ( Yes I can be a bit of a health food freak at times)
And her favorite thing in the world.... an apple core. She likes to bite off big chunks and freak mama out!

I have been a HUGE health food freak... when it comes to Jo, not so much when it comes to me and my husband. My mother-in-law is always trying to offer Jo some hot dog and I'm like NOOOOOOOOOOOOO but a natural, nitrate free, turkey hot dog would be great! I need to look for these...
I thought that apple core was her hotdog on a bun and I was thinking - wow, she is eating a hot dog on a bun! It's late and I've had a long weekend!
That apple core would freak me out too. I am slowly letting Jenna try more things.. the other day I let her try a whole piece of toast.. Um.. not doing that again. She got a BIG piece off.. and I had to dig it out. She was less than thrilled and it took me a good 10 minutes to stop shaking. Back to the small bites! Baby steps right!

So cute! When Carter was little he would eat the whole apple- core, seeds and all. Also, Costco has all natural nitrate free hot dogs this summer! Yippee!
