Mike was able to patch the area of rotting wood and cover it with ice and water shield.. just in time for the monsoon rains to hit. Its been raining buckets all day with lots more rain expected over the next few days to a week. I would be lying if I didn't expect some water in the basement before spring is over. Its happened every spring so far since we have owned this house. Nothing major and only in a certain containable area... but we know its coming. We have the dehumidifier running just in case.

Seriously - let us know if you need any deck help. Shawn and his dad built our deck (and Shawn designed it) three years ago. They did an incredible job!

Looks good! And, I am going to check out Mike's blog. He and Chris sound eerily the same! You would totally understand my living the last two plus years with a basement being finished! He is close now, but still not finished! And, it's not out of lack of work, it's the details...and the research...see, eerily the same!
