haha that's so cute. Jo likes to do the same thing. What I do is fill up a basket or little box with a bunch of toys and just put it infront of her and she'll entertain herself for quite awhile just emptying and playing with it.
That same thing happens at my house at least once a week, but with a whole lot more books! haha! It's nice when they finally learn how to put them back, too!

Get used to that. Pick up... make a mess... pick up... make a mess... one day you will warm up to the idea of just living in a mess! :)
