So- Mike comes home from Lowe's with this antenna thingy. Apparently the fact that we have ZERO channels has finally sunk in after almost 6 months. This little thing was $17.00 and claims that "it is a great cable and satellite back-up"
Here is Mike and Keira breathlessly flipping through the channels to see which ones now come in- The result? It works no better than when Mike fiddles with the wires in the basement and we get a somewhat of a static picture for one channel. And the $ 17.00 Antenna? Its going back to Lowe's and we return to our TV less life.... with an occasional movie every now and then.

Ummm, yeah those little dinky antennas don't work any better then a set of rabbit ears with aluminum foil! (Which I bet you have never had the joy of fiddling with)
To get good reception where you are you would probably need an antenna on the roof. But then you would still only get like 5 channels.
You can see the hope and anticipation in both of their eyes!
That stinks!
